Why Preserve Your Gown?
Your
wedding is a once in a lifetime memory. Make that memory last a lifetime.
The selection and purchase of a wedding gown is an investment of your
precious time and money. Preserve that investment with wedding gown
preservation.
A properly preserved gown makes an unforgettable keepsake or a
treasured heirloom. When you pass your gown down to that special person,
make sure it is in as good condition as it was the day you bought it.
Your gown may appear clean after wearing, but often gowns have hidden
soil such as body oils, perspiration, food spills. These may not be
immediately apparent, but with age will oxidize and appear as stains and
may even weaken the fabric of your dress.
The Preservation Process
A
gown specialists will examine your gown and select the most appropriate
cleaning method. Your gown will be cleaned with the utmost care, paying
special attention to delicate details.
Your dress will then be sealed in a pH controlled, acid-free, humidity
controlled box.
All oxygen will be purged from the box and replaced with an inert gas to virtually
prevent any oxidation and yellowing. The “other” companies just put the
gown in a box leaving it unprotected. We remove the oxygen; this is
what defines a “true” preservation.
Our
MuseumStyle boxes not only protect your gown, but allow for display and
viewing.
After sealing the gown in the inner display box, your gown will be carefully placed into
a durable outer storage box for additional safety. All Gown
Preservation comes with a Written Guarantee against damage due to :
oxidation, insect infestation, mold and mildew. |
