Drapery Cleaning

Sun Ray Specialty services offers drapery cleaning and finishing using an Adjust-A-Drape machine. This measures the length, ensures even hemlines and adds soft folds to your draperies and curtains.
Draperies are measured, cleaned then professionally finished. Draperies are pressed and inserted into the machine, and then steamed and dried in place to maintain even hemlines and straight pleats. Draperies are then placed on a wooden hanger to be returned to the customer.

Draperies and curtains, while hanging, are subject to the deleterious effects of sunlight, heat, humidity and air pollution. These conditions may cause weakness in the fabric and result in holes or tears, despite our careful cleaning process.
Fading from sunlight is often covered by soil and not discovered until the draperies are cleaned. Improper preshrinkage by the manufacturer may cause progressive shrinkage that goes unnoticed.
